Dog shot and left for dead doing well after leg amputation
ROSS COUNTY, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — A dog shot and left on the side of a Ross County road has taken the next step in her recovery.
Trinity, a dog found by a Good Samaritan with out a license or microchip, had her leg amputated after a gunshot shattered her elbow, leaving bullet fragments scattered throughout.
The Ross County Humane Society said surgery went well and Trinity is doing okay.
So far, $1500 in donations have come in to cover her vet bills.
