Johnny Depp’s Dogs At Risk In Australia


Johnny Depp and his wife recently arrived in Australia via private jet, and their two dogs, Boo and Pistol, were on the airplane as well. Unfortunately, the couple’s Yorkshire terriers were not properly declared with government officials, and now, the Department of Agriculture has demanded that the dogs leave by Saturday, or they will be euthanized, reported the Daily Mail.

Fox News reported that Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce has accused Depp of “smuggling” the dogs into the country; Joyce stated, “If you start letting movie stars — even though they’ve been the sexiest man alive twice — to come into our nation (with pets), then why don’t we just break laws for everybody?”

The Australian officials were alerted to Boo and Pisol’s presence in the country after they were taken to a groomer last weekend. A spokesperson for Jetpets commented on the extensive requirements which Australia has for pets entering their country:
